Tutorials on interdisciplinary areas, novel and fast growing directions, and significant applications are highly encouraged.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div>\n <h1>Important Dates<\/h1>\n <ul class=\"my_ul\">\n  <li>Proposal due: <font color=\"red\"><del>February 20, 2023<\/del><\/font> <b>March 6, 2023<\/b><\/li>\n <li>Tutorial notification: <font color=\"red\"><del>April 5, 2023<\/del><\/font> <b>April 12, 2023<\/b><\/li>\n <li>Submission of tutorial notes: <font color=\"red\"><del>April 27, 2023<\/del><\/font> <b>May 4, 2023<\/b><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n<p>*All deadlines are 23:59 Pacific Standard Time (PST)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div>\n<h1>Proposal<\/h1>\n<p>\n A tutorial proposal should include the following and should not exceed 5 pages excluding references:\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"my_ul\">\n<li>Title<\/li>\n<li>Abstract<\/li>\n<li>Tutorial Outline<\/li>\n<li>Presenters&#8217; name, affiliation, address, email, phone<\/li>\n<li>A biographical sketch of the presenter(s)<\/li>\n<li>References<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nOutline including a short summary of every section\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"my_ul\">\n<li>Background<\/li>\n<li>Specific goals and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Expected background of the audience<\/li>\n<li>Audio Visual equipment needed for the presentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nA list of up to 20 most important references that will be covered in the tutorial.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div>\n  <h1>Paper Submission<\/h1>\n  <p>\nPlease submit your proposals in PDF format to the link below:<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/wnoUGoqMfi2tHH26A\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tutorial Proposal Online Submission Link<\/a><\/p>\n<br>\n<p>Proposals will be evaluated by the tutorial co-chairs based on merit and relevance. The tutorial presenters will be required to provide comprehensive tutorial notes prior to the event, which will be published on the PAKDD website. Tutorials are expected to be scheduled on the day before the main PAKDD conference, <span style=\"font-weight:bold; color:red;\">May 25, 2023<\/span>. <span style=\"font-weight:bold; color:red;\">Tutorials will be held entirely online<\/span>. All presenters named in the proposal <span style=\"font-weight:bold; color:red;\">MUST attend online<\/span> to present the tutorial; otherwise, the tutorial may be canceled.
