The PAKDD workshops provide an informal and vibrant opportunity for researchers and industry practitioners to share their research positions, original research results and practical development experiences on specific challenges and emerging issues. Each workshop should be focused on a cohesive theme so that participants can benefit from interaction with each other.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<h1>Important Dates<\/h1>\n<p>\n*All deadlines are 23:59 Pacific Standard Time (PST)\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"my_ul\">\n<li>Workshop proposal submission deadline: <b>December 1, 2022<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Workshop proposal acceptance notification: <b>December 21, 2022<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nWe furthermore encourage the organizers to stick to the following deadlines in the schedule for authors:\n<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"my_ul\">\n<li>Workshop CFP deadline: <font color=\"red\"><del>January 15, 2023<\/del><\/font> <b>February 1, 2023<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Workshop paper deadline: <font color=\"red\"><del>February 28, 2023<\/del><\/font> <b>March 7, 2023<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Workshop paper acceptance notification: <font color=\"red\"><del>March 31, 2023<\/del><\/font> <b>April 7, 2023<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Workshop paper camera-ready: <b>April 25, 2023<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div>\n<h1>\nTopics of Interest\n<\/h1>\n<p>\nWorkshop topics typically match those identified in the PAKDD 2023 call for papers, but proposals concerned with other areas of data mining and knowledge discovery are welcome. Interdisciplinary workshops that explore the convergence of data mining and knowledge discovery with various disciplines are also encouraged.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div>\n<h1>Format<\/h1>\n<p>\nWorkshops are scheduled to be held at the beginning of the conference, May 25, 2023. \nWorkshops will be held entirely online. Workshop papers will not be included in the conference proceedings but available on the PAKDD 2023 webpage.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div>\n<h1>Duties<\/h1>\n<p>\nThe organizers of accepted workshops are expected to disseminate the call for papers, gather submissions, form the program committees, conduct the reviewing process, and decide upon the final workshop program. \n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"w-main mb60-sp30\">\n<div>\n<h1>Submission<\/h1>\n<p>\nThe workshop proposal should contain the following information:\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"my_ul\">\n<li>Title of the workshop<\/li>\n<li>Objectives, scope, and contribution to the main conference<\/li>\n<li>Names, affiliations and contacts of the organizers<\/li>\n<li>Tentative list of the program committee members<\/li>\n<li>Length of the workshop (full day or half day)<\/li>\n<li>Expected number of submissions and attendees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nWorkshop proposals should be submitted by December 1st, 2022 at 11:59PM (PST).
